I will have to cut out the 3m tape so it fits behind the emblem but that shouldnt be a problem. The only thing I am worried about is the emblem being too dark. I just painted my grill gunmetal and I had the emblem laying around so I decided to paint it gunmetal as well, and then a couple of coats of clear on top. It turned out great, so I hope it looks good when I install it. I have the black pearl emblems on the back, and I am thinking about painting my stock chrome emblems gunmetal for the rear also to match.
