Default My GS400 made me do it!!!!

I couldn't help myself. I laid out a door mat at work.

I know its a bit juvenille, and harsh on my car, but I couldn't help myself. I've wanted a car like this forever.

My first power-braking burnout is attached. This car has mad torque as I rode it out for a good 40 feet. You couldn't pry the smile of my face with a crowbar after my little parking lot session.

Who else here has something that they're not really proud of, but it was a blast when ya did it??

Default Different Angle

The stripes just go off into the darkness. I had to layoff of it because I was running out of parking lot and quick. It would have rode it out even farther.

These cars are so awesome. What a complete package. I won't be treating my baby like that again anytime soon, but it was definetly a blast. I wish I had a private track I could go rip it up on.

That's awesome. There's nothing like a V8 to smoke tires and mark pavement.

I don't have photographic evidence, but today my GS430 really impressed me on its first really long day trip (map avoids The City; I went through it).

I left the Hamptons at 4,
dropped someone off in Greenwich Village at 5:45 (traffic slowed me down),
home in State College by 9, which should really be impossible.

The only other car that was even interested in keeping the pace was an M3 that tailed me at 100mph for about a half hour.

I've never had so much fun driving anything anywhere...and I got respect from people with gigantic beach houses.

Note: driving at these speeds is inadvisable without a hardwired Valentine One.

No mods on this car......its all stock.

Someone was saying that they have a hard time peeling out in another thread.....I think these pics should lay that idea to rest.... a GS400 has more than enough juice to light*** up!

Welcome to the burnout club. Doing a clean long burnout takes a lil technique, but I see that you did it on smooth concrete pavement on stock tires; those are primo conditions for doing a long burnout. Get some 19-20 inch rims and some wide tires and it will get harder.

Here's me doing a burnout at the beginning of this video. It melted two scars into the asphalt. I'll have to go back out there to see if they're still there.

Go here: http://www.lexusgonewild.com/videos.shtml

Then select: LGW DVD Trailer

ENJOY

with 17s i don't doubt, it's not hard getting rubber on the road at all. but once you put 19s or even 20s in my case, chirping the tires aren't that easy anymore

oh and nop, i don't have video, but rmmgs4 has
