How does the LED bulb work like the std dual filament bulbs.

When you turn on your parking/headlights on at night.....one filament remains lit....when you press the brakes....the other filament light up. Just wondering. Does anyone have experience with LEDs back there?

The bulbs work off different wires/voltages dependig on the car. Basically the bulbs are three prong, so even though there is one bulbs there are multiple elements.

With led's, you just pick which led's you want to run off which line (parking, brake , etc.. )

you guy's just missed a group buy on the led tails in the vendors forum, but they are available through LLS for $200 for the rear set.

I wanted a set but you felt my design was too complicated.

Is that only one LED bulb? How bright it can be when using only one LED?

Just curious

PHML, LED's come in different brightnesses, but the 'retrofit' usually has multiple LED's in the same space as a standard bulb. I've seen 6, 9, 12, 18. Narrow beam, Wide beam, etc.

Hey guys I found this link, all about leds. It it impressive because it seems to explain the basics really well- a great resource for anyone. There are more links at the bottom aswell, which continue. Use altavista toolbar or whatever you choose will translate it from japanese to english, as you can't do a link with the translation - this wont work

Hope this is helpful
