how do I get to it? I read in previous threads that it's just right behind the glove box, but I didn't see anything there to pull or whatever. I have the cd player there too so I dont know if that is obscuring my view or what.

Any ideas? BTW, I have a 99 GS300.

 

i did a search for you but couldnt find anything, but here:
1) once you open the glove compartment look at the back wall of the actual bin, you should notice a rectangular shape on the back wall that seems to be moveable. pull it up and out towards you
2) directly behind that there is another rectangular shape, on the sides of the rectangular cut out there should be two places where to put ur fingers on to grip it pull that out as well. viola you should now see ur filter

 

read the manual....there's detail instructions and pics.
