tune up question. gs300
i was wondering why there are no mention of the cap and rotor in the new gs300s. is it because it doesn't exist? did they stop using distributor caps in the new i6s? could someone enlighten a young man?
what other things are needed on 60k DIY tuneup on the 300?

Dude are you serious, Where you been for the last 10 years. Plugs, wires(are most important), and coils (if you want a complete tune up). Change transmission fluid every 30k, and engine oil every 3k, I do mine every 2k

hey there! there isnt a cap or rotor in the gs3, so theres nothing to replace! at 60k, you need to change the plugs. Look in your manuals and there is a schedule of what you need to do at that mileage. Also, if you are gonna change the plugs yourself, the plugs are pretty expensive at the dealer so you might want to look elsewhere for the OEM plugs....good luck!
