What size rims you think those are? Looks like 20's. Nice stance overall.
about the wheels, isnt' that something like the zeuber gettins? if you get the low disk setup for the front you can get tons of lips no problem. look at GSTRANCE's car, the lips front and back are both stupidly wide

.....by the way i love this kit and the color of this gs is just beautiful
personally i think the answer lies in rubbing and camber. first of all we don't know if the wheels rub at all, maybe they are just for shows and for daily drive you can't even turn without rubbing anything.
second, it's the camber. think of it this way. if you get a wheel with super low offset, how is it going to "fit" under the GS? well, you lower the car, and you adjust the camber to be as negative as you can. that way it will keep on pushing the top of the wheel INWARD, and if you set it negavtive enough, it will fit and actually no rubbing. plus it is possible that they put saying 235 instead of 245 series tires for the extra room.
the problem with that is i am not sure if you wanna drive around with that camber. yes you won't rub, but good luck to the tires. i am sure the tire shop would be very happy to see you going there all the time.
so for me from the pics, it looks like for the front ehy have normal disk setup but intentionally lower the offset as much as they can to fit the brakes. then put skinner tires and also decrease the camber to make it fit
just 2 cents, of course

Car looks tight. I like those wheels. they look deep as hell up front. I agree, the back does need a little sumtin sumtin.

Awesome pics Pete, thanks for posting it up!!
