Default Help!...My first problem...driver's door does not lock.

Has this happened to anyone before? I traded in my Passat because I was annoyed by little electrical gremlins. Don't tell me they followed me to my GS3.

Anyhow, my driver's side door will not lock or unlock by key fob or master lock? What's going on with my reliable Lexus?

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

If its the same problem I had with mine I had to order a new door lock motor (I think thats what its called). This just happened to mine 2 weeks ago. Kind of expensive.

yeah its no biggie, the door lock acutators on these cars (usually 98-99) go, they are about 180 shipped from Carson Toyota. i am trying to get a group buy going on them if I can get enough members interested.

do you think my warranty will cover it? I bought my GS as a Certified Pre Owned. I hope it will.

Oh yeah definately, your CPO covers you for 3yrs or 100k so you should be all set!

Fo sho...It was the actuators and CPO did cover it. I'm disappointed something failed on my whip but pleased with the service. Lexus pulls through once again. NEver got this treatment from Volkswagen.

Thanks for the input though!
