loonow12 - while those seem like options in the benz that will be "standard" on the lexus, dont think it will be the same price as the GS. The GS alone went up about 8 or so grand from 98 to now, and how much more do you get? So did all comparable cars from comeptitiors. Now you expect ventilated seats, dynamic seats, distronic, keyless go, etc etc for free? its not gonna happen.
I son't believe the price has gone up $8K since '98. My car loaded with have was over $50K new. I am not sure of the total price since I bought it preowned, but I know it was. The same car today would be more because you can get the NAV with the ML stereo together, for 98 you could only have NAV or NAK. I believe the ML option is $2k itself, so that is not really an increase, just an add on. Please show us your documentation showing your price increase.

OK I take it back. It has gone up 5 grand since 98. And i just ran the numbers. My fully loaded 98 bought in April 98 cost 49,5 sticker. We are only comparing sticker here anyway, since we cant compare negotiated prices. A fully loaded GS now costs 54,861.

My number had come from comparing the 540 from back then to last year, but i think the 540 had more available options than the GS.
