Default Additional bolt for sway bar links

Hi,

I need to replace my sway bar links. I'm aware that the link attaches to the bar via 2 bolts, one built into the link and one loose which does not come with the links as far as i can see. This is a problem for me since these bolts have come loose and fallen off now my sway bar links are hanging upside down. I cant find any info as to where to get this loose bolt or what its specs are. Can anyone help identify this? Thanks.

First, that link looks like its upside down.
second I belive thats an M8 bolt and nut. (maybe M6) These can be found at home depot. I realize they might not have homedepots' in the A so your local hardware store should suffice. Take that nut and bolt with yout o test for fitment.

Is the head a 100mm or 12mm? This car uses 10mm bolts for about 90% of the fasteners. If it’s a 10mm then just pull one out of a non critical position and use it to reattach the sway at, so u can safely drive it. 12mm are also used throughout the car, but usually they are in important spots, so i wouldn’t pull one from somewhere else for temp use. Just pull one from the other side of the car, and take it to your local hardware store and you’ll be able to match it up to a replacement that has the right size, length and thread pitch, or at least learn those stats and then u can order a replacement online.

It's a 12mm head, an M8 bolt
