Default Fog light indicator not working

My fog lights are working fine however the indicator light is not coming on in the dash. Is it a bulb or a fuse?

I thought for sure there was an indicator light ( green light with waves going thru it or something like that) whenever the fog light or in other cases driving lights were on.

I don't know if my GS400 is any different being a Canadian model ie. not to many GS's with headlight washers but I'd sure like to hear from someone who has fogs on they're GS.

It just seems really strange that their wouldn't cuz if you didn't shut them off and you leave your lights on auto you could be drivin with them on all the time?

The only light that comes on are the driving lights for the HIDs in my GS400 (looks like a light bulb). I don't recall any light coming on for the fog lights.

Downtown, all GS models have fog lights. But in Europe and perhaps in Canada, many cars have REAR fog lights which are extra bulbs that can make the tail lights extra bright so the car can be seen better from behind. Maybe you have those? But as far as the front fog lights go, we all have 'em and there's no indicator, just the marking on the left stalk.

I live in Canada too and there is no light indicator in my GS400 to show the fogs are on.

Just started up the car and a amber headlight wth swiggles thru came on. My conclusion is that it wasn't a fog light indicator but something to do with the self leveling headlight system with the HID's that I mistakenley saw.

I'm still surprised they didn't put an indicator light on for the fog's.

That may be the indicator for a blown bulb.
