From your profile, you got an 02 GS.
To enter the nav. diagnostic screen. You have to turn the key to "On" and engage the Parking Brake.
From the Nav. menu select " Display". On the Display screen you will see the top and bottom bar. Atternately touch the space between the top and bottom on the left side of the screen.
