Hello, I have a 98 gs400. I’ve seen like these code scanners or something and it tellls u all the codes. Can these work on my car and where would it go? I saw a spot in engine bay where it might go I wasnt sure. Any recommendations on which one to get?
I saw these online, are these any good?

Yes those will work. The OBD2 port is below the dash on the left side.

yea I got this one. Works great.

 

When you plug a scanner in it has a nasty habit of canceling the VSC memory. You will have to reset using jumper in the engin bay little box that you circled above. It only takes a few mins to do, search this site for info
