Yep, they aren't dead for me, all 4 doors lock and unlock using the key in the barrel. The tilt-motor of the steering column almost died last summer, I disconnected the tilt ECU to keep the steering wheel at the right place.

Maybe it's time for the actuators. I read on an other topic that they can work but they're notre able to go all way from side to side and the car don't know if she's open or close, it triggered the alarm one time using the barrel since the remote stopped working. I notice that blinkers don't flash when I close with the barrel.

On an other topic I also read something I have to try tomorrow :
- Drivers door : unlock (with the barrel), open and close the door, lock the car.
- Go to passenger door, do same thing.
The remote start miraculously to work again for the guy.

Just curious of you were able to find anything with this? Just a couple days ago my remote stopped working for the keyless entry. I just replaced the door actuators with new denso ones a month ago, they worked just fine after that. I was getting a new key cut, the guy came out to my car and tested the new key in the lock cylinders and sprayed some lube in there. From right there the keyless entry hasn't worked. Tried a different battery in the remote, disconnected the car battery for a bit, even tried to program the new key remote. The locks cycle once, which means it went through. But they still don't work from the remote.
