Looks like an aftermarket strut tower brace.
In Japan the JZS147's came from the factory with a strut tower brace, of course they were also TT.

I'm the owner of the gold gs300 from the towers meet. The strut bar was custom made by a local tig welder (aluminum welder). He also made a matching battery hold down bracket to match the bar.You can't see it in the picture though. The bar was made for $200.00.I originally posted an offer to connect cl members with the guy who makes them, but no one was interested.

I called the juan carlos(thats the guy who makes the bar) And he would build another if your interested. He's on vacation now and will be back sometime next week.He said it would take about 2 weeks to construct the bar.Let me know if your interested.

The bar sits perfect doesn't touch anything and if the motor was turbo the bar wouldn't be in the way either. It was all taken into consideration when it was designed.Looks like juan is going to be busy when he gets back.

How would a transaction like this go ahead, I think he'll probably want a down payment or something before he starts the work.
I've never purchased anything over the internet, so I am a little reluctant about sending money to someone I don't know when there is no guarantee that I will be able to get it back if things don't work out. I've seen quite a few threads about transactions not working out and members being scammed (I'm not saying this is a scam, I'm just concerned because I am tight on money because I am in school and being out of a couple hundred bucks would be pretty painful right now).
On the other side, I understand that he probably would not want to buy parts and start working on something without a guarnatee that he would be paid. This is a risk on his part too.
So, what are the options? Like I said, I'm a newbee to buying things over the internet, so I have so many questions and concerns. Again, I am not saying nor trying to insinuate in any way that this is a scam.
Your thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated because I would really like to buy a strut tower bar!
