Nice car man, almost looks as good as my Champagne GS (not gold) hahahhaha, very clean, never seen it before. What size wheels are those? and what suspension set-up do you have.

johnny, can you post a pic of the JDM bar? I'd like to see it.

Thanks.

Default Thanks for the compliment

They are 20*8.5 and I'm running eibach springs with some new "stock struts".The ride is great. The JDM bar that I have looks exactly like the one that is posted earlier on thread.

Thanks...

Johnny, do you have and straight on side shots of your car? I want to see the fender gap and the balance of the car with your set up. I currently have the Eibach kit and KYB Struts, I haven't decided if I am going to switch to 20s yet. I have 19s now in staggered formation (19x8.5 and 19x10) but I have a new set of 20" Falken Azenis that have been sitting in my garage for a year now.

Default Sorry no pics

The only pics that are available are the ones that bluelex posted. As soon as I figure out how to download pics on the computer from my camera, I will. The gap isn't that wide ,but I would love to bring the front down another .5 or so(but thats just me.).I have no problem with scrubbing as long as you run a 245-35-20.Those azenis tires are awesome! I have seen first gen gs with 19's, but the car has to be slammed to fill the gap,but with 20's you can get the look with just some eibach's.If performance is your thing then I wouldn't recomend 20's.Looks wise I would really go with 20's.I didn't go with 20's because I want to ride on "dubs" or some stupid things like that, but because they fit the car perfect in my opinion.I have been ridin on 20's for about 3 yrs now.

That was my thought exactly with respect to the 20s vs. the 19s. I prefer a sport look that can be backed up. I just can't tell if the 20s would be too big. I wanted to go with some HRE 540s, but I may just sell the tires. Since you're fairly new, heres a couple pics of my ride, everybody else has seen them already. I rarely post here anymore, but I still "ghost" in once in a while. I haven't done anything to it in like a year. It rarely gets driven, I've been taking some time off to catch up on life and will get back into it soon.

Todd

Paintball... whats paintball? LOL!!!

Yeah, paintball has been my pastime of late. It gives me something that both my stepson and I can enjoy together. I play for an Amatuer team. I really enjoy it.

I have some plans for the car, I'll probably start with the new year. Most of the ideas revolve around the sound system, but who knows... maybe there will be a new "whiny" sound coming from beneath the hood.

I really needed to take some time to combat burnout and to calm down the homefront. Between the time (and money) working on the car, all my sponsorship responsibilities and the USACi Circuit, the wife wasn't getting her fair share. Paintball pulls me away one day a week so the grass is getting cut and the fence is getting painted, etc... LOL!!

Good luck with your car, email me if you get any specific questions with speaker placement.

Yeah maybe, I don't know. It sits so nice right now the way it is. I don't know if I can justify $6000 in rims just to have 20s.
