Also the intake isn't really loud unless i really stomp it. If anyone is worried about loudness they could just leave their stock intake piping and intake resonator and that should quiet things down. I will try to post a sound clip tomarrow. btw southern i et you noticed that with your setup the engine fan blows hot air at the cone. The injen heat shield imo doesn't help much it would be better if you just blocked off the whole right side.

just cut a piece of plastic or aluminum to block off that whole right side. I'll have a pic of my temp/ghetto heat shield tomarrow. The filter is just a generic one off of ebay. Its a cotton filter like all the other ones, looks the same, smells the same, works the same.

UPDATE.
I positioned it so that the fan doesn't blow hot air.
The cool air blows in from the black piece which attaches to the STOCK air box.
What do you guys think of the way I set up the heatshield? thanks
