Hey guys,
I met up with my friend a few days ago who has a Fixed up "LOL" Ford Escort. So I opened up my hood and he gets all crazy about my engine. He's like OHHH SHIZZ 2JZe. I'm like uhh ok.. It's the same engine in the Supra. Well besides the 220Hp and the same engine as the Supra, what's so special about it? Did I already cover the uniqueness of it in this post.

It's one of the most smoothest running engines.
It's very quiet (I remember when I first bought the car, I would think the engine cut off because it was very quiet).
It's robust enough to handle a turbo, but not as much power as the one that came with a turbo from the factory (there are some differences between the turbo and non-trubo engines, there are numerous threads about this).
Anyone want to add to this list?
Eric pretty much got it all. Its a very very reliable engine. if taken care of (oil changes and stuff) it will easily last 300,000+ miles. this engine can take a beating. my 10 year old engine still gets redlined weekly with no problemo
