Idle Problem Update
Well I dropped my car off at my buddy's shop yesterday, cause after I had the tensioner and belt replaced the idle problem was way worse. Well it turns out that somethin with the MAF was put together wrong and something was crimped and it was sucking in too much air. What had happened is it started to act up a couple months ago and when the belt broke the motor was running real rough, shakin or somethin enough to get what ever was crimped worse, cause after that it started running strange. I have never had the MAF messed with so it must have been like that for a long time. This is such a relief, I thought my car was gonna start costing me lots of $$$$, he only charged me $25 to put it on the machine. Now it runs better than it ever has.

Man that's great. There is nothing like taking it to the shop and letting them put it on the computer to find out exactly what is wrong with it.
What is a MAF?

What is a MAF?
MAF=Mass Air Flow meter.
It's part of your intake system for air induction.

Thanks for the explanation... I was thinking AF stood for airflow but i couldnt figure out the M..assuming that to be the correct order of the acronym.
My airflow meter malfunctioned once on my BMW but the problem corrected itself.
