Thanks man, the color is Midnight Indigo Pearl (i think thats the name). I think its a little easier to tell in this pic. I gotta find out how to cover up those damn FOR SALE signs in the windows, it looks tacky!!

The wheels are 20x8.5", I believe 38 or 40mm offset. The tires are 255/35-20. some people think the rims are 18s because of the drop. 2 people this wknd asked me if I had 18s!!!! I do not like the way the large wheels jack the car up to SUV height, so I had to bring it back down with the Intrax suspension.

I know that when your question starts with "it's not really any of my business" you should not ask. But I have to. So, it's not really any of my business, but why are you selling your ride? It is such a beuty and it's a first generation. C'mon, man. Think about it, I know that you don't really want to sell it. Wanting to sell it was so yesterday, today you want to keep it. You feeling me?

Rover, I dont have a digi camera, so the only car pics I have are the ones I took for the autotrader. Thats why there are 4sale signs in all my pics! I purchased this car a couple years ago and at the time my credit was only about 3 yrs old. Thus I got a screwy intrest rate, and my payment is correspondingly screwy!! I am going to begin house hunting soon and I wanted to lower my debt/income ratio, so I figured I would sell the car and just get a 15000 loan and get something else down the line. The thing is, I had a idea, now that I have more credit history, I can just refinance my car and lower the note! I actually talked to my current landlord, who is a buyer broker (real estate), and he said that is a good idea. I am actually going to start the process in a few days!!

Since I'm keeping it, I wanna get:
1. TVs
2. 6000k Zenon kit for head lights (i took the 4100k fogs out)
3. New wheels

DGOT20s,
Now we are talking, bro. Big dawg, I love your decision, man. First generation for life. I know Jmai will really like your light idea, I myself love the rims idea. The rims you have right now are o.k. but they are not gangsta enough. So yeah, you do need some new wheels, man. And tvs are nice too, Rico's Revenge is the man for that.
But hey, I'm really glad that you've decided to stick around. We don't take people leaving us very lightly, you know. Us, First Generation nuts, have to stick together and represent. And good luck with the house (make sure it has a roomy garage for your beautiful baby GS).

Thanks kid! I already have a TV connect on Canal St in NYC. The guy I buy my equipment from will give me a 7" widescreen and a DVD player for 350. He will also give me 5inchers for the headrests for 100 each. And thats before haggling! I dont know what rims I'll get, that will come last. The real biggest reasons for keeping the car:

1. I have always wanted since i was 16! (Too bad I couldnt get one until 21!!!). There are only a couple other cars that I just love (98 CL M/B, 2000 S500, 95 Acura Legend, 99 SC are some of the others)

2. I already have wheels, a drop, a stereo, and tint installed on this car. Even if I just brought another car, I would still have to pay to get these items transferred.

I have 88000 on the clock, the car is Certified until 100,000 so I figured why not refinance and keep for a couple more years. I cannot concern myself with who has a 98GS, or who thinks my car is old! I have to do what makes $$$ sense, and makes me happy! Would anyone like to donate a Toyomoto Turbo kit to my worthy cause??

Rover,

I forgot to ask, what part of CT are you from? I'm in New Haven pretty often, I have friends down that way.

DGOT20s,

Deja vu, man. I've been wanting to get a GS since I was 16 myself. I got it when I was 18, about to turn 19. So I know how you feel. I've had it for 4 years now and would not trade it for anything. I've had two Integras and always loved Legends.

The place on the Canal street, you are talking about. Is it the Chinese place by the four way intersection? Those guys are pretty good with prices and the quality of the product.

And as far as the miles are concerned, don't even sweat it. I've got 155K and I still race it and drift it. It's a wonderful car, bro.

I live in Bridgeport, CT and I do go to New Haven from time to time. As a matter of fact, I used to work there, so I know the area pretty well. One of these days you and I should hook up and go drive around, we can do a mini first generation meeting. LOL

Be good, bro.
