Default Foglight bulb help....

Guys,

I need desperate help replacing the fog light bulbs. I've removed the housing and I've opened the part that exposes the bulb. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove the bulb. I've attached pictures of the part that has me stumped.

I know that I'm supposed to know how to change the bulbs...but I don't. Please help me out guys.

I'm roaming right now so the pictures won't load. If their out, rotate the housing counter clock wise, then the little "paper clip" that holds the bulb in, push down and slide toward you. The H3 bulb only has one wire hookup and it slides right out.

If your still lost i'll be home in a few hours so I'll walk you through it in a pm if you can't get it

I'm still lost. I'm looking at the replacement and there is a blue wire attached to the bulb. I'm looking at the fog light and I don't see a place to insert the wire in the light. I will post a picture of the replacement. Once you see the pictures, you will see where I am.

Just in case my PM didn't send. That big white wire is only a sheath. Slide it up and you'll see the connection. It just simply pulls apart. I didn't even re-use the wire sheath.

Yes those are 1 wire type so that 1 white wire comes apart right there about 4" down from the bulb base. Give it a tug and it'll come loose. Some of them are kinda sticky. Get some dielectric grease for the connection to help for next.

Thanks guys!

I will play around with it when I get home. I was tugging on it, but I'm fearful of breaking it. I will provide a status update later tonight.

Update: I was able to remove and install the fog lights . I appreciate the help!!

Glad you got it. There is usually someone on here that has done what you're trying to do before and probably ran into the same issues. Seems you got pretty quick advice too so that's good.
