I have a 93 gs300 with a jdm aristo swap, Single turbo'd. I'm not to familiar yet with everything on 2jzgte's and was wondering what a few things were.
First off is this canister under the intake manifold with vacuum lines running to it. The two lines that run off it to the back of the block are blocked off (came like that)
Second thing is this Hose that is blocked off on back of head between the valve covers
If someone could please identify these things for me and tell me if the first one can be removed.
Thanks,
Joe
the hose on the back of the head is the heater hose n u should re route that to were the heater hose enters the fire wall, the hose is under the exhaust mani its a pipe that runs to the water pump, that pipe has a hose that runs into the fire wall that contains a heater core n comes out the other side of the fire wall to a valve n that valve is connected to that hose on the back of the head, the canister runs to what i believe is the egr system so if ur engine has egr block off plates u should leave it blocked off,i believe not for sure...
