Unhappy Wire Colors?

Does anyone happen to know what the factory speaker wire colors are if You are trying to remove them from the factory amp end. I took out my factory sub so I dont need to know those wires, just the four in the door. I am trying to run my factory speakers to an aftermarket amp? Are there any installers or electricians out there....
thanks in advance for any info.

well the way i do it is pretty simple. when i put aftermarket speakers in my car and i run new wires i just put everything in the trunk. then in the end i take a 9v battery and just touch 1 to pos and one to neg and the one that makes the sound is the speaker that wire belongs to

Unhappy New wires

yeah Im too lazy too run new wires because I just had my custom
dash kit installed and its there to stay. I am trying to cut the wires from the factory amp so that way its easy to just run them to another amp in the trunk.

you don't need to run new wires to do what i said. just take the factory wires and test them with a battery. it should still work.

your factory amp is under your cd changer in the trunk on the right side. i think that's what's being asked here not sure on the colors as my car is back in the body shop but it's pretty easy to figure it out

so you guys are saying to just cut all the wires from the amp and test them all until I get lucky?
wont that take forever? There are a million wires going into the amp.

Some guy in the ES forum is having the same problem with his antenna. Probably because our antennas move slightly up or down depending on what radio frequency we have it set to, therefore there are a couple of extra wires running to the antenna motor. Not sure if you have to replace the antenna or if you're supposed to build some sort of relay or maybe run different wires.

http://www.autotoys.com/New_Tech/DIY...er_antenna.htm

I found this website and it tells about installing an aftermarket antenna in an LS400. It reveals some of the secrets of Lexus power antennas from 92-96 so read through it and see if you can solve the prob you are having.

It explains how to use a low voltage trigger, which I think might be the answer.
