One of my plug wires popped off the distributor cap while driving, it was the shortest plug that runs to the module on the fender. So I think it is time to replace the wire set, after a quick google search using the shop option the prices are low 40 bucks to 179.99. Autozone says Bosch is the OEM supplierand they sell them for 179.99 special order, RockAuto has the same set 79.99, I have seen aftermarket like duralast by Autozone for 79.99 and no name for 40 plus bucks. I have no intention of buying the low price aftermarket wire set but want to find out what you guy's who have changed wires bought and from where and for how much, if you recall. I have narrowed it down to Bosch-79.99, NGK100.00-130.00 and Denso 100.00 all online retailer's. The problem is the connecters are made of plastic and they secure the wire to the dist cap by locking in to place, heat from the engine overtime most likely helps age the plastic and plastic gets brittle and cracks. My connector isn't cracked but my wife drives the car and it shutdown on the highway with my son in the back seat. I have driven the car these last 2 days and all is well. Plugs are new and that is thee first time I have ever removed a throttle body to access spark plugs,
