Default headlight projector assy. question!!!

how do you remove the low beam projector and high beam reflector assy. from the back of the headlamp housing?? i have the lens off and all that stuff...but how do you take the projector assy off the headlamp housing? ive backed out the adjusting screws but there seems to be a pivoting point that extends from the black housing to the projector assy. how do you take the all the way apart??!?! haha

that black pivot point on the low beam projector part has two screws that hold it in,, if you can access them by pivoting the projector around, then great, undo the screws and presto.

but if you can't manage to find a way, then you'll have to pop that black pivot part off. very easily done if you don't care about damaging the projector or anything.

the high beam should be the same, i haven't looked at either of my sets i have in the basement. i think they're based on the same pivote cup type, not sure on USDM's tho

USDM has only one pivot point. if you are looking at the back of the headlamp assy. the hole for the high beam, in the top right 'corner' is where the pivot point is. im guessing its totally different from a JDM headlamp....

the low beam on the JDM light has 1 pivot point as well, it's just getting a screwdriver in there in the right position is the tricky part in order to remove the screws that hold that pivot point in place. not to sure on the high beam, what's your reasoning for removing that? I can have a look at 1 of my spares at home, once i'm off work

i started with 180 dry, then 220 and up has been wet sand. all by hand
