help with headlight beam adjustment
hi guys.
well, i was doing my regular routine of popping the hood open and just looking around the engine bay when i noticed that my beam is angled a little high.
so as any other person would try to do, i tried to adjust the sucker.
i got the two screws out to adjust the bubble to zero, but i noticed that the plastic cover was sealed with rubber sealant. i didnt want to break it or something because of fear that water would get into it when it rains.
i was wondering if anybody else had trouble with this.
or am i looking at the wrong place to adjust my beam?

you are definately looking at the wrong place...there is a long thin bolt coming straight off the back of the headlight housing. use either a phillips screw driver or a 8mm (if i remember correctly) to adjust it.
im not sure if ur talking about your low beam or your high beam, but i recently adjusted my low beams and it should be what looks like a long screw comming out of the back of the projector, i used a 5/16th wrench to adjust it because i cant really fit a screw driver into the bakc of it, i donno what 5/16ths is in mm, srry, hope that helps
Don't go by the bubbles.....the best way is to park your car on a road or parking lot with a good space in front of you, aim em and get back in the car to see if you like where they are.
I tried doing it in the garage on the wall, then when I'm out driving its too far down or I'm blinding oncoming traffic
8mm socket, I hade to move my battery to get at the drvr side lamp

so its that bolt looking thing thats right behind the low beam projectors?
i was messing around with them, and i had the lights on, and the angle didnt really change. or it was probably me just not noticing.
so whats the bubbles for?
