I got an oil analysis done on my GS a while back, figure I should post the results. I got the oil change from Meineke, was running this along with Marvel Mystery Oil.

Looking good so far, the GS now has 191k, currently running Castrol Edge, I should have the new oil analysis by next week.

ahh nice, I use Castrol edge as well and some add some lucas oil stabalizer.

 

Thanks, I stopped using Lucas oil stabilizer after finding out that it is basically an oil thickener, no additives. IMO marvel mystery oil works much better at keeping the motor clean.

 

I have always meant to have my previous SC400's oil analysed

Never got around to it, though I may do that once I have my 1UZ running in my GS

Excuse me I have a question. I don't have an owners manual and i have a reoccurring lite coming on. i was wondering if any of you had one and could read it to me or suggest something I may be able to do to correct the problem. It is next to the the symbol for the car lights. It looks like an oil light but has wavey lines underneath it. Any information you could help me with would be greatly appreciated.
