Ok I'm almost at the point where I ready for paint and I have three colors in mind. I was thinking a nice black because nothing looks better than a clean black car or all white more along the line of a frost white because i've only seen people keep the pearl white. Last but not least the new gs matador red. Out of all three colors which would u think would look the best

Green and I'm not really a big fan of green I just got a good deal on the car and couldn't pass it up. When I'm getting it painted it will be the same time as the motor swap so engine bay trunk and door jams everything is getting painted

 

I don't think you could ever go wrong with black on the first gen! I just had mine re-sprayed about 3 or 4 months ago. The only challenge is that you have to stay on top of a black paint job, with regard to waxing, to keep the swirls away. But, I think you said it best....it's just something about that Lexus 202-Onyx Black!

 

I say all white or matador red.

i favor matador red more, its something different, and with some dark tint it looks real aggressive.

 

I say matador red. because that will be a color that is not see on the first gens. It will be your own color for first gen. If you picked the matador red color please post up pictures.

 

Matador red was my first choice cause I love the color and I have never seen the first Gen in that color. The thing that is hard about that color is that Lexus has diffrent variations of the same color and I don't know how to get the one I want
