2jzgte vacum source issue.
Hey guys, I have a question to ask. I bought a gs300 the with as 2jzgte swap and notice some of the vacuum lines weren’t connected properly, for example the PCV valve port(on the valve cover, driverside), isn’t that suppose to be connected to the intake? Well they have that port which is supposed to be connected open , instead they connected it to my break master cylinder into the hose that contains vacuum on the intake where the PCV is suppose to be directly connected to., is there a vacuum source I can tee for the break master cylinder... this motor is from a 1991 aristo..
I know the picture is ****ty took it of my black berry, nevertheless it can give u guys an idea exactly on what I’m talking about.

Being that the aristo came with hydro brakes, the guys who installed it got lazy and instead of drilling a new vacuum port into the intake they used the PCV. You can correct it by taking off the intake, drilling a new port in the back of the manifold and reconnecting the PCV.
on the top of the intake manifold towards the firewall there should be a bolt sitting on top.
i used a banjo bolt and a banjo fitting and and ran a vacuum line from there to the break booster with a one way check valve in line

Did I get robbed then? I can't explain why you had a fitting, but no one else does. This is not the first time I've been asked this question. Check the swap sticky, this is covered in there.
