Getting Universal Air Suspension (UAS), Need Offset Help!
Hey guys, I'm planning to go air via the UAS setup. I'm also ordering a new set of shoes, most likely 19" Work Varianza. I'm getting step-lip, so they'll be 19x9 and 19x10. I'm also gonna roll (and possibly pull) the fenders if need be.
A couple questions though...
1) Since I'm going air, what's the BEST offsets if I want max lip that will ALSO tuck when I wanna slam it? I want max lip front and rear and don't care for fitting BBK or anything.
2) What tire sizes would work best for this setup? I don't mind 2-3 degrees of negative camber, and I'm planning to stretch them.
Work offers them in a bunch of different offsets, and I wanna get it right the first time w/out having to use spacers.
So with your stock arms you might have an issue with how low you want it to ride. and the Camber that you can adjust too. I have maxed out my camber(to try and correct it back to the Stock angle) with 20's and Springs and still have issues with tires disapering in around 6000 miles. the front is where the real problem exists, Also if you want it to be flush plan on doing some modification to the inner fender lip in the front and rear so that it is a clean and clear.
Good luck on the setup i just about bought it a week ago for $2050 new. What kind of deal are you going to be getting

What up C! Any schedule on the air install and are you going the DIY route on that? Me being on air and planning on changing 18"->20" I'm interested in the new adjustable UCA's? What's the delio with 'em, change in physical dimensions of the arm etc...?
Sorry OP for the OT

thanks for the advice. so when you say "some modification to the inner fender lip", are you just referring to removing the inner linings? i'm planning on rolling (and possibly pulling) my fenders, but i'm hoping that'll be enough.
i'm getting the complete UAS front/rear/side/side setup for $1900.

hey no problem. but can i ask you what "UCA's" are? universal control arms?
I've seen 19x9 +15 and 19x10 +10 on a 1st gen before and man they were hot!! I wouldn't go any lower than that tho. +20 is somewhere that you wanna be at.
