Hey guys i dont post on CL very much but i do love my 1st gen =D

My car is a diamond pearl white with gray interior 94 with 202,000 original miles and still puts down a beating =D


Heres what the car has so far:

poor mans gte swap, never thought of it that way. i give you props as i always thought of doing this as my gte is all in pieces and i'm too lazy to find all the misplaced parts but it always seemed harder as you need to find all the little gte stuff.

and i love the all white

 

Will someone please steal this man's camera phone! With all the guys you know with DSLRs why do we need to look at these substandard pics. You've worked hard and the car looks great.

It's beautiful. I am starting to like the first generation models more and more; because of cars like yours.

 

looks nice. Right off the bat I would suggest you repaint the grill insert black as well as the pieces in the grill of the bumper. Its something small that makes a big difference IMO. When the bumper grill pieces are color matched, all I think is the painter got lazy and didn't want to mask it off and buy a tiny bit of black paint. Just get a bottle of the rattle can trim paint.

Im starting to really really like white on our cars, I may opt out for that instead of silver when I do mine.

oh ya, like mine, your GS is just BEGGING for a Aristo bumper.

 

well thanks for all the kind words guys means alot. the car has literally been a b*tch to get like this. I actually bought it off of CL last august and its been a money pit ever since. every week i always find theres something to fix...it doesnt always have to be something major...for instance, i have no radio antenna, i havent herd the radio since i bought this car LOL...i need to get a discreet antenna... CEL has been on since i had it, but i did a scan, nothin major, just some sensors. a dumb girl burned my perfect gray headliner when she was smoking, she was hot but nonetheless she herd it from me...this car has been completely overhauled, theres almost nothing left that it originally came with mechanically speaking and it shows, no one believes this car has over 200k, no hesitation, pulls like a champ and stops on a dime...well when im in the car by myself anyways LOL
