Default removing antenna?

K i ****ed my antenna up so Im removing it completely. I got the motor for it off and un bolted, and all the wires unplugged etc. But the only thing that is holding it in is the antenna itself, I pushed the antenna all the way down through the hole at the back of the car. But in the trunk, I dont know how to disconnect the tube thing the antenna goes through from the top of the trunk.

Help grealty appreciated once again.

Sorry I typed it up as fast as I could.

K, so on the inside of the trunk, theres the small electric motor for the antenna. Theres the motor part, and then there is a metal tube that has the mast in it that runs up and goes through the ceiling of the trunk. My question is, how do I unhook that from the ceiling of the trunk?

if you still dont understand ill stop being lazy and take pictures.

Just unscrew the top of the housing. I use a special tool, but you could use a pair of pliers or vice grips.... even a flathead screw driver. The idea is to unscrew the top chrome (or gold) mast. Then u could drop it down into the trunk and replace. Go for it, it is not hard at all. It is the piece with 4 indents in them. Turn it counter clockwise.

I use two flathead screwdrivers so I don't scratch the chrome.
