Default Installing Amp

okay guys, i am installing an amp but having trouble fitting the power cable through the car from the battery terminal. where do you guys put it through? Everything is working great. just have this one problem.

if you look in the firewall section you should see where all teh wires go through an opening. thats where im doin mine. i havent done it yet but thats what i was told. it located on the driver side of the engine ba. does that make any sense? i can get you pics quickly if you want

that would be great if you post any pictures. i think i know what you are talking but i cant seem to get the wire through

Default steering linkage or wheel well

if the pics don't show up. Look right around the area of the steering linkage you should find an access point that should allow for at least a 4 guage wire with minimum alterations.

I think the best way to do it might be to remove the plastic wheel well guards. From what I here on either side there are grommets that will allow for you to pass up to a 1 guage wire through and end up with a cleaner installation. Nothing for the prying eye to see .

up on the firewall you should see a black rubber gromet going into the firewall, it has the majority of the wires that go from engine to car



there we go, that's a better picture, i'm not sure if the GS300 has that or not, but it should be on the passenger side

its on the passenger side where i removed two 10mm bolts.

i open it and im trying to figure how to get through it
any suggestions?

just poke through the top, and it'll poke through the bottom, i'll try to find a picture on my computer, i haven't taken any of that up close in a long time, give me a few

thanks for everyone.....i just taped a long stick with wire and poked it until it went all the way through. i had to remove the glove box and cover from the passenger side. took me a while but i did. Now i can listen to musics with a sub now.
