Talking Need 2jz-GTE!

Ok so i finally got the go ahead to buy a new engine!

So no more slow N/A and time for fast TURBO. So i need a good place to buy one from, and how much. i wont be buying it until summer, and have about 5 grand to spend on just the buying of the engine, so im hoping for something clean and decent, that wont take TOO much work, like new parts and such. but i know ill have to buy some parts, thats fine.

I read the Sticky on here and Kaisers post, so is that 3 to 6 thousand for buying the engine and replacing parts?

I really clean low mileage half cut will probably run $3k ish plus figure another grand for misc parts. Then install if you aren't doing it yourself.

One question, are you able to get through emissions in CA?

so lets say about 5 grand to buy it, install it and for the parts?

and do you mean emissions as in smogchecks? if so, then yes...

oh and what do you mean by halfcut? and do you have any websites, or shops or anything that will help me find good engines? anyones you recommend?

all your questions would probably be answered in the Swap Sticky.

Supra tt and Aristo trans are A340E's. 4 Speed. The Supra TT manual is a V160 6 speed and the N/A manual Supra uses a W58 5 speed.
