hey guys i just got my gs and i dont have an owners manuel or any type of info for this car but this yello oil level light has been coming on and off as i drive i checked my oil levels and it all seems ok do you know if this is an engine oil or tranny oil light???

FYI, be very wary with stuff involving the oil light. If you checked the level and it's fine, there are TWO possible reasons for the light:
-Bad sensor
-No oil circulation, possibly due to the pump failing.
Listen to your engine carefully and make sure you don't hear any signs to oil starvation due to a pump that's functioning intermittently or not at all (the engine would sieze pretty fast if this was the case). It's most likely that the sensor is just bad. But always smart to look into things further, rather then write it off as the sensor and have a catastrophic failure that could've been avoided.

it was low on oil yea i know how stupid of me lol i did check the oil level before and it seemed ok but i guess maybe it had somthing to do with the level of the car or the way i checked it the first time w/e but yea just needed oil it has a small leak around v/c gasketOriginally Posted by nickCT
