Oil Sensor...
Had My Engine Replaced In November And Oil Light Turns On. Shop Said It's $450 Part And Mines Was Defected Which I Think Is A Lie Because The Oil Light Had Not Turned On Before. I Called Local Lexus Parts Place In Town And He Stated He Has Never Sold 1 Oil Sensor In The Past 15 Years He Had Worked There. He Also Said It Was A Part That Is Hard/impossible To Break. Just Wanted To Know If This Is True.. Female Who Knows A Little About Cars...i Freakin Paid $5000 Is That The Norm For Such A Engine Job...
5 g's for a for a different motor or was it a rebuilt and drop in? Thats alot of money i have to say, i got my motor and shipped to me for 800, but i did put in the motor myself and for the oil sensor, it's located in front of the the oil filter on the block, maybe the clip isn't plugged in or not all the way. Wait, which oil light are you talking about, there's 2 of them, one for low oil and one for pretty much no oil. --MIC.
