Default 2jzgte swap/wire write up?

Does anyone know if this exsist? I'm probaly looking to do a swap in the future and would like to get as much info as possible.

There is nothing really to wire up. Just lengthen the harnesses, plug it in, jumper the resistor in the cluster.

I was under the impression that the gauge cluster will not work unlike the 14GS.

edit: sorry, didnt realize this was for the 1st gen GS...it was one of the last commented thread and it was on the top page of the forum.

haha damn that sucks. Carb legal turbo kits run about 4K-5K, and a GTE swap would probably be around 3k, or thats what i can get them for. Has anyone in cali ever BAR'd a GTE swap? is that even possible?

I thought swaps were legal as long as the engine's year wasn't older than that of the chassis, plus, the GTE is available in the US as a stock motor...and I'm pretty sure the supra is legal in Cali.

I'm probably wrong, but I have to make sure for myself you know. I do know that what goes in other states don't matter in Cali most of the time.

No EGR on JDM motors. I suppose you 'could' add it. Maybe with stock twins. Maybe.
