Default Electrical Problems...

Unfortunately when it comes to electronics this car is a pain in the ***. I installed a new sub and deck. The problem is after all this i come to notice that none of my cabin lights were working. Along with that were my switches for my trunk and gas tank. The on and off switch for my key remote. The worst is the clock and the steering wheel stop working. Anyone have a clue? I've been searching the forum forever and cant find an answer. Are all these electronics related in some way?

Question

How did you hook up the new deck and sub??In these cars you cant just throw in a new deck because it is an amplified system..We need more info about what you did to the car in order to figure what is wrong..

well the deck i hooked up just like i read here on club lexus by bypassing the stock amp. The subwoofer i installed just like you would any subwoofer. The only thing i probably did different was use the power line for the airconditioner to power my deck because the given power line on the write up didnt work.

So are you running the stock mids and highs with the aftermarket deck??And what is powering the sub??

Yes the stock mids and highs are powered by the deck. The sub is ran by an aftermarket amp. Everything works fine except alot of the electrical things went out. I tried to find a fuse and seen nothing. What i want to know is, is there a similarity to all the things that went out? Could there be just one major fix like a wire i messed around with?

The thing is does that AC wire have anything to do with all the dome lights, doorlights, steering wheel, trunk and gas switch?
