Question 93 GS300 Key Programming Instructions

Hey guys this is my first time posting. I need help programming a new key that I bought off ebay, it has the same FCC ID number and everything. I can't find any instructions on the web to program a key for a 1993 Lexus GS300, and surprise surprise the dealership wants an arm and a leg for it.
Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Try This:

1. Start with key out of switch, drivers door open, all other doors and trunk closed, doors unlocked.

2. Insert key in ignition, DO NOT TURN ON, and remove key.

3. Using drivers side power door lock button, lock and unlock doors 5 times within 40 seconds, ending with doors unlocked.

4. Close drivers door and open it. Again lock and unlock doors 5 times within 40 seconds, ending with doors unlocked.

5. Insert key into ignition and turn from LOCK to ON to LOCK one time. Remove key from ignition.

6. Door locks will cycle one time.

7. Press lock button on transmitter for at least one second. Door locks will cycle.

10. Within 20 seconds, close drivers door and open it and press button on transmtter again for at least one second.

11. Door locks will cycle. Wait 20 seconds and registration will be completed.

i just did it and it worked . . but what was confusing me was where it says to put the key in the ignition and turn key to on position. well if you look at your ignition by where your key goes it shows LOCK. ACC. ON. START. so you can see what key positions mean what. when you simply put your key in your ignition without turning that would be considered LOCK position. one turn clockwise is ACC, two clicks clockwise ON, third click would be to START. BUT to actually start the engine or crank the engine you still have to further turn it past the third click. what im getting at is in the instructions given here they tell you to bring the key from LOCK to ON then back to LOCK (ON being the second click) but it didnt work. i tried once doing LOCK to START (without cranking to turn the engine) and back to LOCK and this worked because the door locks cycled ( locked and unlocked) so you guys think theres a possible error in the instructions?

Trust me, this doesn't work with a 93. You have to buy the transponder and receiver. cheaper to buy an aftermarket alarm and have it installed.
