Default Please Help! My Check Engine light came on!??!

I have a 1996 GS 300 and my yellow Engine light just came on today. I have 118,600 miles on the clock. It seems to be running fine. What is going on? What should I do? Please help. Any assistance/suggestions/information would be greatly appreciated.

Did you just fill up your gas tank? Check the gas cap to see if it's loose.

If it's not the gas cap, head on over to an an Autozone or something similar. Have them plug in the Scanner tool to see what's wrong with it. That service is usually free of charge.

you have to pull the fault code to begin diagnosing the problem. Most of the problems are pretty minor, so don't worry too much about it at this point. But, you should pull the code and go from there.

Thanks, everyone, for your suport. No, I did not just fill the gas tank. I am going to go to Autozone to see is they can put it on the machine. Oxygen Sensors or EGR??? Is either of them easy to replace?

Just came from AutoZone. The code is PO155 (Bank 2 Sensor 1). So, now, the question is: How do I change it myself? Anyone have any instructions? Please Help!
