No problem, It's the internet, You can't take anything too serious, especially what someone says to you on the net. I don't think your post was pissy at all, in fact it never even entered my mind until you said it. It's interesting how your outlook on life determines how you interpret things. if you always think posititve, you only see positive, try it , it really works Psychology 101 over for today

so whats code 71 in the manual and how much does it cost to fix it? Mine seems to be going in and out for some reason now thanks a ton

Check all the items below or call a shop and ask what they charge!!
Open in EGR gas temp circuit
short in VSV circuit for EGR
EGR hose disconnected, valve stuck
clogged EGR gas passage(usually the culprit)
ECM

The egr valve was 67.00 at the local Lexus dealership.

Try cleaning the MAF sensor. That got rid of my check light, I didn't even check what it was.
