Well, the day I hoped would never arrive has come. I had to part with my beloved GS3 yesterday after trying to fix a series of problems that nearly ruined me financially. I decided that at this point in my life it would be more intelligent to get something with minimal ownership costs. I ended up getting a Civic coupe (not my first choice, but it was more impressive than anything I could find at a Toyota dealer.
I just wanted to thank everyone here for all the help they've given me over the past year. I will truly miss being a member, but hopefully this lack of Lexus ownership will only be temporary. Thanks again... and hopefully you all don't mind a Honduh boy stopping by every so often.
Sorry to hear about your car. Hopefully your Honda will serve you well until you get a new Lex. We'll miss you over here, feel free to hang out with us over here, we're all friends.
Regarding the parts you have for sale, could I buy your strut tower bar and the stock intake piping (if it's available for sale. I need the two stock rubber tubes between the airflow meter and the throttle, also the plastic airsilencer box)? I'm in SoCal, so I'm willing to meet you any time and give you cash. Let me know via PM.
Awww. I'm really sorry to hear this Leets! At first I thought you were in an accident and I was holding my breathe ... It's sad that you won't have the car, but I am sure you will get a better one. Like 93lexogs300, you are part of our family so don't ever feel left out. I wish you all the best and please keep in touch.

Ahhh... good ol' Michelle... She sure knows how to make things better.
Man I'm sorry to hear that. You know you're good to your car and sometimes it just isn't as good to you.
What was happening, just a lot of stuff at once? I've had some close calls for sure. Like the dealer told me my power steering rack was going out (it wasn't), got coolant in the engine (that was fun), and I figured out how to fix the widow trim before I went and shot myself.
I hope you'll stick around here anyway. What year Civic did you get? You know you can save a lot of $$$ with a car like that and that is always a good thing.

How did the window trim come out???Can you post some pics??Befor and after possibly...
"tired of wind noise" thread shows the process. minh wrote how to get the trim out a long time ago. Before, it wasn't flush with the door. Now it is 99% flush - I need to bend the top corner a little bit and it will be perfect.
I just had to have my fat ***** towed out of the parking lot of the Attorney General's Office on my first day of work. I feel your pain my friend. Good luck with everything and whatever you decide to buy in the future. Peace out.
