Ok people....the 6-29 meet was a success!! The next meet is 5 weeks from now so again you have plenty of time to get the day off....let me know which day would be better.....3rd(sat) or 4th(sun). This time around we'll be doing something indoors so throw out some suggestions if you have an idea.

Alex glad to see your getting pumped up for the next meet.

I'm offering my house for any Saturday in August. We can meet later in the day if that helps other people, say around dinner time. I was thinking of ordering Chicago style pizza's (great local joint), Beer and soda and asking everyone to kick in $10.00. This way its easy for everyone you just need to show up.

My wife is out of town the weekend of August 10th, so I was shooting for that weekend, however I can have her away on the 3rd if nessary. Let me know what works for you guys. I live in Wheaton near the Dupage county fair grounds at Roosevelt & County farm rd (about 10 min west of I355).

BTW I ran into the dude (Victor) with the silver GS300 at HIN show-not the one with the strobes. He lives in West Chicago a few miles from me and said he would show up at our next meet. He has about 30k in mods and is adding the twin-turbo from Japan.

 

August 3rd or August 10th works for me.

I'm up in the Twin Cities and would like to join you for a meet sometime. How about driving up to the Wisconsin Dells? Its not too far from Chicago and the drive would be really nice. I just can see driving for 8hours, but could do the 4hr drive to the Dells.

Whatcha think? This might also interest other Minnesota and Wisconsin Lexus owners to participate.

hey jim, if you don't mind having a bunch of people over that's cool.....now will there a be a problem with parking? Cause we'll have at least 10 cars maybe more. The 10th sounds good so we'll set the date at Aug. 10th. What time can we come?

Alex, I have a six car driveway (first come first serve) and plenty of free parking in the front of my house. I'm hoping everyone can come for dinner (5-6:00pm) and a relax for a few hours. When the sun goes down then I'm sure people will hit the streets.

If anyone is bringing guest let me know so I can be prepared with the right amount of food and drink. Remember $10.00 per head. When its gone its gone. Hard liquor or funny cigarettes will NOT be served.

Plan B:

The Dupage county fair grounds are at the end of my street so if things get to silly we can head over there.
