I'm looking for some HID bulbs. I got some a couple of days ago but they ended up being as bright as regular halogen bulbs. So, i need some pretty decent or better ones. Local around broward or dade prefered.

Are you solely looking for bulbs or do u need the whole kit? I have a slightly used 9006 hid kit I might be willing to part with.

What Kelvin were you using? The stock halogens are REALLY dim. Now if your bulbs are really blue you may be using 8000K or more. Might want to drop down to 6000K or ideally 4500K would be good. Of course, you might just have a bad kit.

He was using 6000k bulbs, but I believe it has more to do with the non-HID projectors that they were in. The output is not the same as an HID projector. I have the same kit in a few other cars (without projector) and they are very bright.

I run 6000k on my SC with stock non-HID projectors and they're very bright compared to stock output, but not as bright as say my gf's Civic with just reflective halogen housing. Of course, she has poor cutoff. The only other thing I can think of as a reason they're not bright is that the lenses may be yellowed and/or dirty. That could cause a hindrance in light output.
