5% tint illegal? Anyone been pulled over???
i just got 15% all the way around on my car yesterday, looks clean and amazing. I havent had a chance to snap any piks yet but i will later. Give "tint man"(google tint man orlando and it will come up) a call he did mine in like an hr and did amazing work at the best price i have found around here.

Could be. in Osceola, I've never had a cop say a word about it. But I've gotten crap about just having 15% all the way around in tampa, daytona, and sarasota though. I have a friend that drove a saturn for years with 5% ALL around (including the front windshield) and never got pulled over for it.
I have 5% all around and 30% on the windshield...it's not hard to see at night for me... and I haven't been pulled over either "knock on wood" It really helps with tha bazing heat we have during the afternoons....
Legal limit is 25% on front side windows, no limit on any rear windows ... i have 5% all round and will be putting either 35 or 50 on the windshield soon. btw cops will not pull you over for tints unless your at the beach (south beach) but they will ticket you for it if they stop you for something else ...
i'm still trying to decide whether or not to tint 5% over my back windows (2000 rx300 green coating) or leave it. because I could really use a tint on the front 2, but the black doesnt match the coating on the rears and the tint with the greenish mirror they have nowadays doesnt match either. so i figure if i tint really dark over the backs the mirror will actually look cool. only problem is the tints on the inside, not out. shi*t haha
Don't let the fear of angry pigs turn you away from tinting your car. Just drive smart and if you know they are around do try to showoff. I think the truth is most cops don't care too much about tinting.
