I'm thinking about getting tint as dark as 5%, anyone know the legal limit, or been pulled over for dark tint?

 

i havent got pulled over for it, but when i was stopped for speeding they checked mine and gave me a ticket for it.

Im from daytona and I have 5% on my black 06 f350 crewcab.... its been on there for 2 years... no problems... not with the cops anyways. Its kinda hard to see out of at night. I have 15% on my LS all around... obviously no problems there.

 

I would go 15% man. 5% is going to be hard to see through at night.

But the legal limit is 35%
Cops won't pull you over just for the tint but they will give you a ticket for it after another traffic stop.

 

I was worried about 5 being impossible to see out of at night, 15 sounds like a decent level between legal and omgI-cant-see-anything, thank you all for the help!

 

This is my LS with 15% on the sides, and 25% in the back window and a 20% strip on the windshield ...it is dark, but you can still see out of the windows at night at least

 

I have 15% + another 5% on top, never get pulled over.

I have 5% all the way around and have never been harrassed the the law about it . I thought that the lowest tint limit in the state of Florida was 15% ?

 

i have 15 all around and no problems with the pigs, 15 is legal for the rear-side windows and the rear window, 25 is the darkest legal for the front-sides

 

From what I've been told every time I got my windows tinted, is that 20% on the front two windows is the lowest legal tint and you can go as dark as you want in the back windows.

 

Hopefully the popo's find something better to pull me over for than my tinted windows.
