polestar will need to make the cars in the u.s. or partner with someone else to do it (ford?) to survive.
i just watched gjeebs video on his road trip in the m3p and at his highway speed, he was getting basically 200mi. between charges, not great. since i'm not all about performance, i'd take more range over more performance.
I have the video on my watch list, but that said, this won't be my trip car, this will be my daily commuter, which is basically 10 miles each way, Mon thru Friday, so performance is my preference. The Y will remain our trip car, and we get between 255 and 265 miles on that car with my driving style
Next summer when our Ioniq 5 lease is up. I would say June or July 2025
I've had a little seat time now in my son's LR AWD, and I really like it. Very quiet and comfortable. Ride is super smooth. Smoother than my Plaid with air suspension. Very quick. Only thing I don't like is that there is no dash in front of you like in my car. Not crazy about everything being in the center.

I'm totally used to it and fine with everything being on the center screen. I may consider the LR as well, I'm also considering the redesigned Y when it comes out

Even then, that won't be enough because they were bemoaning how their own US-made vehicles would be blocked by the current administration's plans due to the usage of Chinese software and hardware.

Closed out my account as well. I thought i'd be charged more for the "Excessive wear and use". I got an estimate from a body shop before the inspection and was quoted $1300 to fix everything. The inspection report showed $418 in billable damages. I returned the car the next day

Congrats! You got off lucky. I had $1600 just in excess mileage charges 😕

When I turned in my 2021 Polestar 2 and got a 2024 I didn't have any fees. It was returned 2 months early in pristine condition so no excess wear charges either. And to top it off, my new lease was for 27 mos with $250/month savings.

Had I gotten into another P2 lease, they would have waived the fees and mileage as well. But I had my heart set on a Model 3. I do miss my P2, it was the car the sold me on EV's
