What happens when the dealer services the battery/charging system, and needs to test the fast charging function?

A 24-48kw system is fast charging! It uses the same DC fast charging system on the car. The AC system is 11kw. BTW, Tesla service centers don't have a 250kw station at their facilities...lol. In fact, most of the dealer stations for test drives don't even have a fast charger. They just use Tesla destination chargers to fuel up their fleet and they are constantly being test driven. Installing a $200k for a high voltage 300kw station for their fleet is idiotic. Its like putting in an entire gas station infrastructure and putting in 2 pumps...LOL

Also an electric car is acceptable if you're not in a hurry to get somewhere (Yes, yes "zero to mach 2 in point 6 seconds" but in a "long trip comparison" a gasoline car will keep passing the EV which is sitting at the charging station EVEN THOUGH the EV got to the charging station WAY WAY ahead of them ..... and the gasoline car will continue for another 100 miles before making a 15 minute refueling stop.) )

(EVERYWHERE is walking distance ... as long as you have the time. EVERYWHERE is reachable by an electric car - as long as you're not in a hurry. (see the video above))

A lot of people - not all - but a LOT of people want a FAST TURNAROUND time "at the pump". Most people don't want to sit at a "gas station" for an hour.

Who knows - perhaps people who like EVs ... LIKE sitting around for 30-45-60-75-90 minutes at a clip??? Hey - you never know - everybody has "their thing."


(My main point for posting this video was to show just how much longer a long road trip took for this group of people and what trip stats they came up with after the trip was over.)

Most people don't drive long highway trips as their typical everyday driving lol
