I've had a Performance 3 for the last 7 months. By far the best car I've ever had.

Nice shot. I'm not a big fan of traditional silver, but the Model 3 seems to look good in that color.

Model S exterior styling has held Up VERY well. It's a stylish and timeless design.

I wish they would have done a miniature scale Model S for the 3 vs the current design. Model S is definitely the better looker

A friend just sold (to a dealer) his ‘17 Jeep GC SRT (put 78k miles on; paid $80k for it, got $35k - ouch) and ordered the Model 3 Performance. Taking delivery tomorrow...

He's not gonna regret it. The Model 3 Performance would annihilate his SRT. Tell him to go visit the Tesla Motor Club forums. Tons of info there.

Wow, nice! I test drove one before I got mine last year and it was a blast! I talked one of my relatives into buying one as well. He's just having too much fun!

It sure has! I hope that when its updated eventually, it's an evolution of the current design as its so timeless as you pointed out.

A smaller Model S would have been cool for sure. I liked the looks and the space of the S, that's why I got it over the 3. What is your user name on the TMC forum? Mine is SilverGs (I created the account there a while ago when I was doing research on the S and I just used my old Lexus as my ID lol)

My ID there is Apprunner. I only post in the 3 section. The forum there seems much bigger.

Got a Performance upgrade today - its a procedure directly from Tesla that some Model S 75D's were eligible for. This one is a software update but required a visit by a Tesla tech to connect to the OBD2 port (as in this firmware update could not be done over the air like the usual software updates). A boost in performance of 22% - current horsepower 362 HP to 442 HP (80 HP increase). Torque increase is even more significant - 470Nm vs 625Nm. 0 - 60 drops from 5.2 s to 4.2 s.

Now I need to find a good Andriod app that I can use to measure the 0-60 for myself.

Thanks man!

I finally sold my GS400! After 18 years of having this amazing car I finally sold it today to a very young car enthusiast. I was surprised that someone in their twenties bought it.Here it is leaving my driveway and my last look at it as he blasts away -
