I’m on my first PHEV. What are the battery concerns?

My 2015 Prius with 143k miles is on the factory battery and factory brakes. Just oil changes and tire rotations so far. Oh yeah engine air filter.

The same concerns people seem to have with BEV's. I'm personally not concerned, but it's all you hear about with the anti-EV crowd.

Toyota's hybrid batteries are very reliable hardly any go bad and even if they do replacements are not expensive. The battery pack has an easy life because it never discharges all the way or gets a full charge.

Another plus is that they've been around for so long it's relatively easy to find someone to work on them
