I was not comparing engines bec its not ICE vs EV.

What makes cars fun to drive are dynamics which involve inputs for steering, braking, suspension and how the car reacts. The 330i and Giulia are still miles ahead in those attributes of fun to drive.

 

Yes because car enthusiasts are minority of car buyers.
Hence why best selling cars historically have been opposite of what car enthusiasts want.

 

Since you are the minority, your opinion's matter less when it comes to the bigger picture. I can only suggest you buy what suits you

I don't know, I have a lot of fun when I smoke Mustang GT's, Chargers/Challengers, BMW M cars, and other "fast cars" in my under 50K Polestar

At least those cars you mentioned sound great and look good besides the pig nose BMW.

 

You drive a Camry so our understanding of fun to drive are vastly different but in general fun to drive represents how a car behaves dynamically and you can take it on great mountain or backroads where it becomes rewarding to drive and feels like extension of your inputs. This is not easy to engineer - its what give the car soul or personality.

 

Oh I can smoke them on the curves as well. By the time they get around the bend, all they see is tail in the distance!

But the looks on their faces... priceless. Beaten by a "normal" car not built for the track 🤣

 

Agreed - thankfully there are options for all of us but the enthusiast dedicated ones are decreasing.

Mustangs and Challengers are not great in corners.
I own a Mustang and its a big heavy car.

Any new M3/4/5 will run circles around Model 3 in the corners.

I truly enjoy our back and fourth conversations, seriously I do, but I don't want to derail this thread. I also don't want to turn this thread into an ice vs EV discussion, which is against the rules of this forum. I still have love for ice, as my roots are from ice. And I love Mustangs, I've rented a few of them over the years (the 5.0 GT)

Btw, my Polestar is probably just as heavy as your Mustang if not heavier 😜
